Web Site Design
ENA Resource Management will work with your organization to interactively design a web site that represents your company on the Internet. ENA Resource Management takes the time to understand the image you want to project and then designs a web site that you can be proud of.
- Discover Web Site Requirements
The first step in the design process is to determine what the customer's requirements are for the web site. There are five general categories of web sites. These are listed below :
Each type of web site design has its own challenges therefore it is important that the customer's expectations are clearly communicated to us.
The next step is to evaluate the amount of content and how often it changes. Content Management is a large part of the web site design process and drives much of the web site implementation.
Content can be defined as text, creative work such as images, graphic design and video clips.
Keywords, titles, robot.txt, search engine sitemaps, internal and external links are all important for your organizations ranking in the major search engines. These factors must be taken into consideration when designing your content therefore ENA Resource Management will work with the content producer to take these factors into consideration.
The visitor's experience will be carefully mapped out. This includes a "story board" to communicate the web site design.
The story board will be used to determine the amount of graphic design work that must be done along with the style of the web site and the number of pages required. ENA Resource Management has found that a story board along with a written design plan communicates the layout of the web site design very effectively.
The web site design must be communicated to the customer and the web site implementation team without leaving room for interpretation. It must be clear and concise so that there are no misunderstandings before web site implementation begins.
